On February 12, 1976 it was decided to have a club newsletter. The newsletter got named "MAYDAY" as that was the term used at the time for an Alert. The first issue was published in April, 1976. The initial staff consisted of Terry Ireland, Donalda Webb and Joe Proud. The Mayday, is published monthly. Membership in META includes a subscription to the Mayday, and articles, etc., from members are welcomed. Submissions may be sent to the editor by fax or email, and the deadline is the 15th of the month.

Historical issues of the Mayday
These issues of the Mayday were published before the internet was popular. Most are scanned to PDF from our club's archives, however when an issue was in poor condition it has been recreated as closely as possible based on the original document (including spelling errors). This is an ongoing project so not all issues are available yet.
